Opening

The regular meeting of the Millstone Village Meeting was called to order at 7:09 p.m., on

July 10th, 2018, at Wallen Baptist Church by Ann Strebig.

Present

Ann Strebig – President, Zach Meyer – Treasurer, Rachael Caldwell – Secretary, Robert Aplin – Attorney and one resident.

Meeting Minutes

Reviewed May minutes.

Treasurer’s Report

Reported a balance of $35,220.32 as of May 31st, 2018 and reported a balance of $32.897.76 as of June 30th, 2018.

New Business

Fall garage sale – Sept 6th, 7th and 8th with Hearthstone.

Architectural request.

Adjournment

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made and seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 8:39 PM by Ann Strebig. The next HOA meeting will be held on September 11th, 2018 @ 7:00 p.m., at Wallen Baptist Church.

Opening

The regular meeting of the Millstone Village Meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m., on

May 8th, 2018, at Wallen Baptist Church by Ann Strebig.

Present

Reviewed March minutes.

Treasurer’s Report

Reported a balance of $33,899.71 as of March 31st, 2018 and reported a balance of $34,794.20 as of April 30th, 2018.

New Business

Parks – new equipment.

Signs – for entrances.

Open Discussion

Talked about great American Clean Up and how dumpster was not opened.

There was a damn in the creek near trail holding up water.

A resident presented a letter they received. (not from HOA)

A resident said kids were playing in street.

March 13th, 2018

Opening

The regular meeting of the Millstone Village Meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m., on

March 13th, 2018, at Wallen Baptist Church by Ann Strebig.

Present

Ann Strebig – President, Ado Kantaevic – Vice President, Zach Meyer – Treasurer, Rachael Caldwell – Secretary, June Ball – Accountant, and two residents.

Meeting Minutes

Reviewed and approved January meeting minutes.

Treasurer’s Report

Zach reported a balance of $40,403.63 as of January 31st, 2018 and reported a balance of $40,493.89 as of February 28th, 2018. A motion to approve financial reports for January and February and was approved.

New Business

We spoke of entrance signs and will start getting quotes for the signs and installation.

Spoke about Great American Clean up and garage sale date, to collaborate with Hearthstone.

Open Discussion

Talked about dues, expenses, and ponds briefly.

Adjournment

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made and seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 7:44p.m. by Ann Strebig. The next meeting is the Annual HOA meeting, which will be held on May 8th, 2018 @ 7:00 p.m., at Wallen Baptist Church.

Christmas Light’s Removal & Storage Containers

The deadline for removal of Christmas lights and decoration has past per the covenants for Millstone Village. While we understand we have had cold weather, we ask that anyone who still has them visible please remove them as soon as they can please.

Also a friendly reminder per the Fort Wayne City code – trash can and recycling cans are to be stored 10ft from the front of the house, it does not set a good precedent to have trash can and recycling cans visible.

We all wish to maintain and increase our home value so please lets keep Millstone Village looking great!

Great American Clean Up 2018

Millstone will partake in the GREAT AMERICAN CLEAN UP on

Saturday, April 21, 2018

We would like to get volunteers to help clean up the trash in the woods, parks, cleaning up the trails, edging and trimming overgrown trees. Please email millstonevillagehoa@gmail.com if interested.

The dumpster will be dropped of around 8am and picked up sometime around 2pm. (Information on location of where dumpster will be on Oak Bay Run near the pond.

NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP PROGRAM RULES:

Materials that cannot be put into the container/truck include:

Lead

Acid Batteries

Herbicides

Radioactive Materials

Special Waste

Fertilizers

Do Not Overfill the container. Debris must not hang over the sides or stick up higher than the sides of the container, and the door must be able to close.

The clean up/dumpster program is offered to communities in Fort Wayne for free, PLEASE DO NOT put items in the dumpster that are on this list, otherwise we may not be able to continue doing this program with the City of Fort Wayne.

Anyone whom had not remitted payment as of January 1st, 2018 got a late letter sent to them letting them know to remit payment by January 31st, 2018 at the latest. Please click below to see letter sent out.

Rachael reported a balance of $22,275.01 as of November 31st, 2017 and a balance of $52,697.99 as of December 31st, 2017.

New Business

Front entrance light – one quote received from LA Electric, need one more quote.

Parks need repair/replacement – spoke of Parkview program.

Tabled talk of Trail Clean up til March meeting – need to cut back trees on trail/hanging branches.
